Monday I started a membership to the Y. Tonight I'm using one of my free appointments with a personal trainer. Last night I bought workout pants and some cheapo athletic shoes. Kai's backpack is all packed with the stuff he's required to have for their nursery/day care, and my backpack is all set with workout clothes and a padlock and stuff. I've worked out basically never at all before, so I'm nervous and this feels weird. I guess I'll settle into it fairly quickly. I'm in terrible physical shape though - I NEVER EVER exercise, and I have about 25 lbs I'd like to turn into muscle or make go away. I definitely don't want to be a musclehead - just want to shrink my tummy and tone up a bit. So, yeah. Should be interesting.
