GODDAMN my computer starts up and shuts down so much faster now. I had about 6G compressed using Windows compression into about 4.5G. Now I've got it all, uncompressed, plus the 5G or so worth of MP3s from my home computer.

Sunday we went to watch SCCA racing, that was fun. I got a sun burn on my face.

Last night Miah and Bruce and I went biking. We biked from about 8 until 11, then Miah and I took a few pictures. Not very many. Not as many as I wanted to take, but it was 12:45 before we stopped. I didn't get to sleep until 1:30. I'm sore and tired. More biking Wednesday!

I just papercut the shit out of myself. That's ass.
wtf is wrong with hotmail, dammit

Made by the fine folks at

I concur with nolimitsoldier and, by proxy, "Joe" - best quiz ever.

And that is so me.

Me: Christ, am I ever sleepy.
Christ: Yes, you are. It's all a part of my plan for you.

FUCK this, man, I demand a public apology from hotmail. I can't read my fucking e-mail!
In Kansas City, they have a war memorial, it's called the Liberty Memorial Museum of World War I. It has a tower that's 217 feet tall; looks like this:

We paid our two dollars apiece to ride the elevator to the top. Under the cut are pictures of what we saw from up there. Just a couple shots of things that are far away.

Yes, the big city. Here are some other general shots from around Kansas City - graffiti, the shots we got of Tori Amos at the meet & greet, and some other moderately interesting stuff.

[EDIT]: Oops - accidentally posted one of those shots twice. One has now been replaced with the correct one.
This is the last two (and the best two) pictures from biking, and one night shot from Wichita, one night when it was raining.
