Friday night we went to see the Matrix: Reloaded at the drive-in. It was a little chilly and misty before we went but it was fabulous while we were there, and the place was nearly deserted while every other theater in town was sold out.

Everyone I read is bitching about what a disappointment the movie was. Well, I guess I'm just simple-minded. I loved it, and I'll be going to see it one or two more times.

Saturday I hung out at home and did nothing during the day, which was nice. After Miah got off work, he picked me up and we washed and waxed his '66 Charger. D met us at Jenny's place and we all went downtown for the River Festival. We got set up to shoot pictures of the fireworks, which I should have tomorrow. They will probably be very cool. Later on, we picked up Jenny and we all went out in the country as it got very foggy. Took some fog pictures and I'm interested to see how they turn out. I was using 200 speed film by that point though so they may not have burned in well at all. I guess we'll see.

Yesterday was another day of do-nothing. I was up until 3am so I was tired all day. I did go to a car show though that D entered his WRX in and Miah entered his Charger in. I saw a car I want - a 1969 Cutlass 442.

Before that, I only wanted the 1987 442. I still love that car too.

I'm sleepy. That will be all for now.

I would show you what five hundred crickets look like, but my website's server has made itself invisible to the internet for some reason.

I have a stack about 20" high of travel guides from all over the country in my living room.
