I knew it! I freaking knew it. That car is PERFECT for me.

Today was the first day that I really felt comfortable enough with the car to drive FAST to work. That thing corners like a sunumabitch. I made turns in front of oncoming traffic and had plenty of room to spare where with the Oldsmobile I would have had to wait. That car is so tiny and has enough acceleration that I can weave in and out and get where I want to be. SO much fun. I cut two minutes off the drive to work today, and that drive is usually only five minutes. That's 40%!

Hehe, my car is fun.

OH yeah

I love how ADP is a bunch of lazy fscks. Like, they just couldn't manage to get me my paycheck on the 5th since there were holidays before that, like New Years Day, so I didn't get paid till the 7th. Automatic mortgage payment bounced. Nice.

Now, since the fscking MLK holiday happened, they can't seem to get me my paycheck today like they are supposed to. EVEN THOUGH TODAY ISN'T THE FSCKING HOLIDAY GOD DAMMIT!!! So, marvelous thing that life is, my automatic payment into my life insurance account will bounce today.

Fscking lovely.
Oh yeah, and I can't afford breakfast or gas today, both of which I need desperately.
Ok guys, contest.

Help me name my car.

Also help me to decide what should be on my personalized tags, if not the car's name.

I have to get tags and insurance tomorrow, so if I want a personalized tag, I have to decide what it says by then.

I've thought of the following:

AUTO X
AUTOX
SOLO II
BC424
BSYCHLD
and my favorite so far, TWISTYS
but none of them really do it for me.

Of course if her name is cool enough I could put that on the tag.

Male or female names are fine, I have no preference.

For those to whom it matters, The cars I have owned go like this:

1. 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass
2. 1984 Oldsmobile Cutlass
3. 1989 Oldsmobile Delta 88
4. 1990 Mazda Miata, the car currently in question.

No, I don't have a thing for Oldsmobiles - it just worked out that way. I liked my first Cutlass enough that when I crashed it, I wanted another one. The #3 car though, the one I've been bitching about, was just a car that happened to be cheaply available when car #2 flipped a bearing and decided it no longer wanted anything to do with me.

So far there is no prize for winning, but maybe I'll come up with something. Serious entries only, please. Try to make them relevant. :-)

zerogenius: I'd be fascinated and curious to see you draw a cartoon version of me, if you're still bored.

My website has pictures if you want something to base it on.
I truly feel that this is one of the best trance tracks of all time. After all these years I'm still happy to hear it every time it comes on.
My junior year in high school I had English 2 for 6th hour, right after lunch. Following that, I had Study Hall during 7th hour and no classes 8th hour. If I went to Study hall every day for the first month or so, it became another class I didn't have to attend at all.

Also my junior year in high school, I developed the bad habit of skipping my english class. But because I wanted to earn those last two hours a day as classes I didn't actually have to attend, I always made it back in time for Study hall.

Problem was that Study hall was the same classroom and same teacher as English 2, the class I was skipping. That's right - one right after the other.

Yeah.

But I did it anyway, and eventually earned that 7th hour free pass, meaning that I could leave after English class, and if I continued skipping English class, I could just leave for lunch after 4th hour (5th hour was my lunch period) and not come back.

Yes, my senior year I did have to take two English classes for one semester, but that was fine. I handled that like a pro.

Point is, during one of those early semester Study Hall periods, my English teacher called me a loser in front of everybody. I said "I'm not a loser!" And she said "In my class you are."

She was right, and we both knew it, but you still don't run around saying that to your students, especially in front of the rest of the class. It didn't scar me or anything, and I'm not mad at her. I actually laughed at her about it and still do.

It's just an interesting story.

hehehe, neet :-)

P.S. The menacing quote is more of a "when I'm driving" thing, not like "I'm a bad ass, stay out of my way or I'll kill you with a hammer."
