There.  There's two items removed from the to-do list and zero added.  And hopefully I'll bust down to The Yard and find some suitable metal for the BCS bracket at lunch today.

  1. buy new hose clamp for air filter after h4xx0ring the one that came with it (note to self - don't torque it so hard)
  2. buy elephant dick
  3. remove radio for wiring access
  4. remove driver seat for wiring access
  5. buy cockpit switch for low/high boost
  6. install and wire the air temp sensor (use loctite)
  7. run wire from ECU to signal wire so I don't have to have the AFM
  8. reinstall all the turbo plumbing
  9. install clutch switch override
  10. have bung welded to intercooler pipe
  11. new hose connector for intake has arrived
  12. aluminum sensor bung has arrived
  13. install valve cover gasket & valve cover
  14. install coil pack and plug wires
  15. put the exhaust back on
  16. find the exhaust gasket I know is around somewhere
  17. put driveshaft back on
  18. re-install rear power plant frame bolts
  19. get wideband O2 sensor bung welded to downpipe
  20. install knock sensor
  21. remove MSD ignition box
  22. remove auxiliary fuel pressure regulator
  23. remove old heat shield
  24. remove old intake
  25. re-install transmission
  26. replace clutch and flywheel
  27. drain and remove transmission
  28. remove shifter
  29. replace ECU
  30. pull up passenger floor panel
  31. remove passenger seat and disassemble interior
  32. remove bad coil pack
  33. remove valve cover and gasket
  34. remove plug wires
  35. remove strut brace
To do:
  1. try installing the new intake again
  2. buy a piece of metal to bend, cut and drill for boost control solenoid bracket
  3. fab bracket for electronic boost control solenoid
  4. install, wire and plumb solenoid
  5. cut switch mounting plate for boost switch
  6. figure out how the hell to wire the boost switch
  7. run wires to the knock sensor
  8. install and wire wideband O2 sensor
  9. put radio back in
  10. put driver seat back in
  11. order lower shifter boot
  12. replace the turbo's water and oil return hoses
  13. rewire radiator fans in series
  14. make sure all sensor wires and the vacuum tube are run from the ECU
  15. enlarge, file down and seal firewall hole
  16. install new heat shield
  17. replace strut brace
  18. fill transmission with fluid
  19. change oil and oil filter
  20. tune ECU
  21. Start engine, make sure nothing is leaking.  Particularly fuel injectors, water hoses at the firewall, fuel lines where AFPR used to be
  22. put the passenger seat back in and the rest of the interior back together
  23. wash car
  24. go zoom
