Today is the second day in a row that this song has been in my head when I woke up.

Last night I spent roughly five hours playing Need for Speed Underground. I've graduated to the Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. I painted it blue and put a sweet white decal on it. That game is TOTALLY rice-boy, but it's fun. I was up until almost 2 AM.

See, I stopped playing at 1:30 because that's already half an hour later than I can stay up and still make it to work within 20 minutes of being on time. But noooo..... I flipped the TV from PS2 to Speed, and what did I see?

Legends of Motorsports, the 1981 Rally of Acropolis.

Rally LEGENDS were driving, like Ari Vatanen. And driving the Ford Escort Rally Car was none other than Malcolm Wilson, who is now the Ford Rally Team Boss. Pretty interesting. And the manufacturers... god, there was Datsun (510), Audi (Quattro), Ford (Escort), Lancia (Delta), Fiat (???), Talbot (???), Mitsubishi (???), and others I don't remember. It was pretty damn cool. So it was almost 2 before I fell asleep.

Anyway, that's all leading up to this morning. Even though I was dead tired and hadn't gotten enough sleep and had to go to work, I liked this morning for some reason. I don't know why. My alarm kept going off, I kept hitting snooze. Tandra's alarm kept going off, I kept nudging her and she kept hitting snooze. There was something nice about sleeping until 7:45 (I skipped a shower this morning), and there was something nice about sleeping in bed next to her warm body. Having some really nice dream about owning a sweet car, waking up and hitting snooze, and trying to get that dream back... I don't know, it was just a nice morning.
