I know that for me, usually images communicate better than words. Also, I find it interesting to see what other peoples' lives and cities look like.
I had some errands to run today, so I decided to make a photo essay of my lunch hour.
The stairs that lead down to the parking lot (they're labeled so that those of us who can see will know what the Braille says)
The courtyard on the way to the parking lot
On the way out to the car, looking back at the shipping/receiving dock
My car in the lot
Heading into downtown
Some cleverly placed graffiti
The historic county courthouse
At this point, I went to City Hall to make a payment on a ticket. You guys don't get to see pictures of that.
Then I went by my attorney's office to make a payment to him.
The door was locked - they must have been at lunch.
Then I went to Lawrence Photo to pick up a print I had made.
This is my friend Paul who runs the place.
He informed me that he was making a photo essay of his lunch hour and took a shot of me.
He then snagged my memory card, stuck it in that there photo printer, and printed the shot out on 4"x6" photo paper. I was quite impressed by the quality.
After that I headed to the bank to make a deposit.
On my way home to pick up Sissy to take her to school. Yeah, I know, I broke the mirror the other day when I was washing the car. Dumbass.
Ah, a big empty space today where sometimes at lunch, hordes of cops like to sit.
My front yard
