Her appointment with him was at 1:45, but we didn't actually see him until 3. She was extremely annoyed with that, but it appears that he runs late because he doesn't rush his patients, and to me, that's worth it.
After listening to her symptoms, he:
- Immediately took blood and urine samples for like six different kinds of tests
- Sent us directly next door to the imaging place for a brain CT scan, like right then (because her pituitary gland is misplaced and apparently this may be somehow related)
- Scheduled her for an upper GI x-ray Monday morning
- Scheduled her for an EKG and treadmill test Tuesday morning, followed by another appointment with him, Dr Cook
All so she could have the results of all these tests by the time she goes to her gastroenterologist on Wednesday. And she sees the OB/GYN on Thursday. Good lord!
