I got the pulsatin' rhythmical remedy

We had an appointment for lab work today. They called us before we even got out of the building and told us that her hemoglobin was low and she needed a transfusion. When she told them she was checking into the hospice hospital in a few hours, they said she could go ahead and get the transfusion there.

When we got there her nurse told us the rest of the results of the blood work. The chemotherapy isn't making any difference at all. I don't know why but I'm not really surprised by this.

At this point we will start looking at M.D. Anderson in Houston for some more aggressive options, and also continue investigating experimental treatments and nutritional and naturopathic treatments. If there are no aggressive or experimental therapies available, it will just be comfort care from here on out.
