Eleven years ago we called ourselves "the crew" and we hung out constantly. Ten years ago one went to jail for seven months. Nine years ago one joined the Navy and now lives in Atlanta. Six years ago two got married, not to each other. Five years ago another one got married and moved to Kansas City, and I moved in with a girl. Since then I've only hung with one of them regularly.

For Thanksgiving, they will all be in town and we are going to get the crew together again for a night. I'm excited.
